I hope Billings suspension was a carry over from last year!

Mr AFL

I would have White before Jones nowadays for sure.

Zucconi annoyed me as he didn't seem to hate the losses enough for mine.

JKT retired. I don't know Ferguson, Shaw or Thornton.

Hodge unlucky with the particular bone he injured. It doesn't get any blood flow.

I reckon we could still miss Donovan and I thought Houghton looked better that a few of ours on Sat.

TFAF these are players that have played for the club at some stage over the past 7-8 years and are under 33. I know some aren't playing anymore for various reasons or are at other clubs. That's why I said 'I wonder what might have been' and posted the following team.

As for this week against South Fremantle if Billings has served his suspension then he comes back into the team, Irons is out for 4 weeks with a face injury, Collard is listed as a test, Chance was also listed as a test and Kalajzic played well in the reserves to warrant a call up to the league side for me.

Well I think that Billings, Collard, Chance and Kalajzic are the difference of around 7-8 goals.

Problem is we lost by 16 on Sat last.

Stranger things have happened.

Are you getting along on Sat AFL?
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Trying to change my work roster around, so hopefully. Otherwise I will try to be near a TV or my phone.

You could add Leon Davis to that team, too.

Just like last your last weeks prediction of "Mitch Morton, Stack and Sinclair for 12 goals between them"

Certainly Billings' inclusion will allow some flexibility down back; and the possibility that one or other of the tall backs could be thrown forward for short periods. It's a pity Irons will miss again, since we could use his speed. Chance is a chance to play and he'll provide much-needed on-field leadership. I agree that Kalajciz should be given a chance at league level. Collard is an obvious inclusion. I think I would stick with Stack in midfield, with short bursts up forward.

I would like to see Jarryd Morton thrown forward for a bit or in the middle if Billings is included in the team on Saturday.

Thats our downfall, because of our weaknesses we have to suggest throw him forward, whack him in the midfield, try him down back and all we are doing is shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic.
Yeah i know, theres nothing lose but shit we wouldnt be put in this position if someone had a clue what recruiting was all about!

Earl has said that the club has tried to recruit quality talls. I think the problem is that due to the lack of anything over the last 38 years that no one wants to come to the club. Granted we have had some good recruits I'm Bevan and Young but as you have stated on here yourself 30 plus that are some of these high profile recruits really what we needed at the time. Therefore I think the club just tries to get anyone they can and hope for the best.

MR AFL,i dont buy it!

You offer the right money, players come we have proved that in the past.
Bevan,Moody and Morton would have freed up a fair bit of cash and points.

When did they go looking??
The club sacked McMahon mid-year thats when they should have been scouring the country side sounding out KP players and other recruits.
I bet they didnt do that, remember Spalding was a late(as per fu#*en usual) appointment so if they started there recruiting campaign then im not surprised they couldnt get anyone of note,it would have been too late!
