I dont get it either (secrecy),yep its only wafl and i dont think naming names is going to cost a club a recruit.
I doubt it will cost you further inside info either, chances are your "source" doesnt read these forums anyway.

Anyway each to there own.

30+, we have been ridiculed on more than one occasion for our inability to secure certain recruits by being trumped by other clubs.
The names Robbins and Sellar readily come to mind and more recently, Curley.
Best to stay "mum" until the ink dries.

At this stage:

No finals and having to spend a whole season getting a new game plan working.

Money!!
9 out of 10 players will sign for a good contract.
Perth havent really had a problem signing big name players,Ross Young and Paul Bevan just recently prove that.

If you have sooooooooo much money to recruit why have you had no success in the last few years. Do you not have a zone to nurture talent like other clubs.

The problem Perth has had in recruiting is,recruiting 3 or 4 players at the one time that are top shelf.
And the biggest problem in recent times has been a reluctance to sign KPP's.

Hopefully 1 player the club is talking to is Aaron Edwards, recently delisted from Richmond.
Could be a 70 goal a year Full Forward in this comp!

Theres the answer highlighted fool re-lack of success.

And
All the other wafl clubs have there fair share of recruits running around, check out the recent premiers in Subi, they had about 8 non local players in ther GF team.

now tall forward in Lewis Johnston is one you may want to have a look at....delisted from Adelaide....kicked 57 goals in the SANFL in 2012 and his team made the GF....

Freeze I read an article today on the AFL site that said if he didn't get drafted he would go back to North Adelaide. A shame as I would definitly be having a look at him. Apparently he is a very good set shot from anywhere inside 65m according to the article.

Another player would have been Ben Ross, recently delisted from Hawthorn. He has said though that he intends to move on with the next phase of his life and go and play suburban football with mates.

Edwards was a bloody good mark and kick for goal when he was at Swans.

Dazzler wrote: Fear not Demon loyals recruits are on the way including a tall defender from another WAFL club and if they manage to snavel the gun midfielder they are chasing from an interstate comp then we will all be rejoicing.

So after looking at other clubs defenders and possibilites the one i come up with is Blayne Wilson, delisted from the Eagles and i doubt very much he will go back to Freo's aligned club and his club of origin Peel.

And maybe the gun midfielder (as indicated by Mr Afl} is Ben Ross delisted by Hawthorn and is a former winner of the JJ Linston medal in the VFL.

James Magner is another midfielder worth a look,a former Melbourne player in the AFL is now a top midfielder at Port Melbourne.

Anyway thats my 2 bobs worth and if they are not the players Dazzler is teasing us posters with, then we should be seriously looking at them!!
