It's also a new slant on coaching, at Lathlain anyway.
30+ you will be pleased with that.

DD I agree Smith and Tedesco are musts, I think Tedesco was a 3 pt player? Correct me if I'm wrong.
Not sure on that, certainly won't be one point but a must.
Cruize is an interesting one, only a one point player but didn't do a lot at Peel.
Would depend if Chance could get inside his head I suppose.

Yep but its not rocket science is it.
The last time we had a dominant CHF (Spinks) was the last time we played finals,1997.
Yet the penny has not dropped with the powers to be since then.

Spinks was tall, even lumbering, but he was always a moving target and IMO that is just as important as height.
Remember Ian Miller... A superb CHF... Would not have been taller then 6'3" if that but was one of the best CHF in VFL and WAFL in his time.
I think that a fit Busher fits that mould.
I agree that a tall marking target is ideal as an alternative option going forward to compliment the moving CHF.

Our recruiting needs to find more height and strength down back as top priority IMO.

Smokey,Busher is to injury prone.
If i was the club then i'd have Busher at aroundabout my 3rd option as a key forward.
We cant afford to take the punt on his fitness in 2015 and rely on him filling a KP post in the forward line for 20 rounds because if he breaks down and we havent made provisions for it we are stuffed.
If we want to make inroads into the top 4 in 2015 then we must recruit our talls in.

Yep i agree as much as we need height in the forward line we also need it down back.

We must once and for all get our spine right.
Of course along with our mids/onballers/Rucks.

I did say a fit Busher 30+. I agree that his fitness cannot be guaranteed at this stage.
Our wish list is pretty full to overflowing and we are not going to get everything that we need all at once.
IMO, the backline must be our priority. we have lacked tall backup for Risol and now he has gone along with Kane we desperately need a couple of quality strong talls in the key positions.
As I have said previously, if we can get Ali Smith back our midfield wont look too shabby so maybe one additional quality mid would put some icing on the cake.
Next, one quality ruckman and a tall forward.
And I do think that we should not underestimate the potential of some our talls that have not been given the opportunity yet. But I hear you say they will take time to develop.... yes they will but development is an important equation. We are not going to have a ready made finals team overnight. It will take time but not too long we all hope.
The coaches support staff will be a major key in the development of the younger players. IMO the kids have not yet had their opportunities but there is some height and potential there.

Off you go now there's a good boy. ;)
Yes I am a fan of Tedesco, he should be as much a target as Smith should. Get those 2 back would be a big bonus.
Smith and Tedesco would get a game at any club, they have nothing to prove.
Sorry Mr AFL, I hear what you're saying about Jacobs but I'm just not sure he's worth it. Also heard some worrying things about Jacobs and the playing group. Not sure how true it is but throws up a doubt for me.

Its fair to say Tedesco wouldn't at WP, thats why he left !!!

I wouldn't be so sure of that Leedy, having seen the footy he played at Perth.
Anyway I wouldn't imagine he would want to go to Joondalup.
Too much garlic I would have thought.

It seems McMahon and Broadbridge are trying to attract Busher to Claremont. On the Claremont section they are saying an injury prone big man from Perth is needed to replace Handley who has retired.
Do we actually have a football manager at present or not. We could end up losing more players rather than recruiting some good ones. McMahon has an axe to grind so beware.

Cesspit...Honestly i dont expect us to turn things around,at all!

I think we have gone backwards too far to come back,i know some rate our list,i dont, its nowhere near being a top 4 team imo.
Either the second tier players have something in them that i havent seen and they produce in 2015 and we reruit 6 top shelf players then its just not going to happen!

The onfield mediocrity that has dogged us for years is alive and well off field as well, imo.
