There are players on the list that show potential but are no where near consistent enough and this hurts. I too think that our list needs fair too much work for just one off season.

If we can fill key areas like a Tall forward and back and a quality mid and hope that 2-3 others already in the squad improve then we should hopefully improve. Well atleast on the three wins we had this year

You have got to be kidding me. Surely Hayden and his old man are not that stupid? I would be shocked if that occurred. Now we have a coach who could actually play the game and knows the art of playing CHF I would say the likes of Busher and Houghton will benefit greatly from his knowledge.

I agree DD.It would be the final and ultimate indignity for our club if McMahon was to deliver Bush to Claremont.
Bush is injury prone but is also potentially the CHF we need and perhaps a captain of the club. He would develop quickly with Spalding as a mentor if he can overcome his injury problems.

Are we close to signing any new recruits? If so will the club put it up on there website like the did last year?

We struggled to find coaches interested in coming,players of any worth will be even tougher to entice.
I suspect a few anmateurs as being our "top" recruits.

Reckon this is how it will play out,we will wait for other clubs to sign the good ones and then come out and say "all the good ones are gone"!!

No more East Perth reserves players thanks. A couple like Tropiano would be handy.

Fear not Demon loyals recruits are on the way including a tall defender from another WAFL club and if they manage to snavel the gun midfielder they are chasing from an interstate comp then we will all be rejoicing.

Dazzler is that a tall defender playing league at another wafl club or a tall defender that cant quite crack it at his wafl club and is a ressies footballer??

There are certainly quite a few gun midfielders playing in top comps around the place.

Lets hope a gun tall forward is also on there radar.
