Our rotations are bullshit.

Yep it is rubbish, how a player has to come off 2 minutes into the first quarter is beyond me,Bateman at home a couple of weeks ago, nothing wrong with him.
He came off paced up and down the boundry line a couple of times and then was back on within minutes,it had nothing to do with match-ups either!
McMahon imo was an AFL coach wannabe,he couldnt be one so he tried to coach like one.

Totally agree DF. We need a new, a smarter and more a more logical approach to interchanges. They can win or lose a game for you. I think "smarter" is the key word here.

I somewhat agree about the approach to rehab but we would need to know more about each injury to comment.

I have been told that Hodgey's broken arm incurred overseas was not diagnosed as a break for some time. It was belatedly set and did not heal and had to be reset putting him out for the season.

Adding to that Smokey i've heard if it doesnt heal properly or doesnt show improvement he's no certainty for next season.
You dont have your arm in a cast for that long for a simple break.
So at this point in time he's probably 50/50.

Gee's I really hope Hodge is ready to go for you blokes next year as he has been sorely missed this season.
A real hard nosed ball getting midfielder who was the ONLY player to curtail Kraks in the whole 2010 season!

BH you might remember he also did a job on Michael Walters that resulted in him getting sucked into an exchange with a few Perth supporters when he came off the ground at Lathlain Park. Fortunately for him he knuckled down after that and has turned into an elite AFL footballer.

yep Murray,Leyendeckers,Johnson(full back came with Leyendeckers),Reimers.
There may be 1 or 2 other players i cant think of right now.

Theres 4 players from the wooden spoon club plus Trevor Williams.
Thats close to a love affair with his former club that he was FM at imo!

Marty was FM between for the 2010, 2011 and the start of the 2012 season.

Mitch Leyendekkers was there when Marty was FM. Daniel Murray was there. David Johnston came to Peel from Swan Districts only for the 2012 season. Kyle Reimers whilst being from Peel originally wasn't a Peel player while Marty was there.

So yes there is a bit more of a connection than what I thought but still not that great. I think Trevor Williams also may have coached David Johnston in the state 16's or 18's and wasn't he coach at Peel colts when Reimers was there. If anything Williams is the one with the stronger connection.

Mr AFL,Im talking about Marty's connection with the Peel football club and not whether he was there or not when those players/coaches were although in saying that 95% of the names i listed and including Waterman were there when Marty was.
Anyaway just my take on it!

Yes Marty has a connection with Peel, it was his former place of employment.

What are you actually getting at then if you are not talking about former players and coaches that he was associated with during his two and a bit seasons as Football Manager down at Peel Thunder?

Chris Waterman may have been there with Marty when he was walking out the door as he left Peel at the end of the 2009 season and Marty started in November of that year.

Yeah he did DD ..since those days as a close checking backman/tagger Hodge has turned himself into a quality midfielder who regularly gets 25-30 touches a game.

I see in today's Worst Guerra is in the mix for you guys. As an AFL premiership player last year he should be across all the most recent training techniques and game day structures. Whether that translates into a good coach or not remains to be seen but he certainly has the right credentials.
