Just read the article and as usual Vince Pendal is right behind his man. If this club is fair dinkum it needs to be pro active right now and sound out these blokes and sign them up now, not guarantee McMahon he will see out the year and then enter the market when there will potentially be 2 or 3 other clubs in the race for a new coach.

A new coach ideally will know he's got the job with at least 4 weeks to go so he can have a good look at them to start culling the list and start targeting recruits for next year, map out a training program, appoint a quality fitness coordinator and find quality assistants.

perhaps Noel Morton as coach?

No to German,he's very much old school he rants and raves and carry's on.
On face value you think thats what half these players need.
I dont believe thats what our club needs.
No to Watters he got sacked from a struggling St.Klida,nup.
Lets remember these 2 had really really strong team/squad at Subi,they havent got the same at Perth!
They also had blank cheques at Subi to sign players.
They didnt get a struggling Peel into the finals.

Harris still well in front of the pack in my list of "wants" but everyone will have a different opinion.

This is one appointment we have to finally get right and not regret 12 months into the contract!

I really hope Watters isn't on the short list I know he coached Subi to a premiership but that was hardly a feat considering the team he had at his disposal.

It said in the article winning ten games was one of the KPI'S for DM in order to get an extension, ffs why not raise the bar and say top 4 anyway that KPI isn't going to happen as someone else stated get the man your after in place now so he can plan ahead.

Let us pray they don't sit on their hands waiting for the phone to ring.
