WTF why would 10 wins be an acceptable pass mark?!?!? That might get us to 6th or maybe 5th if we are lucky. I guess that's like playing in a GF for this club. NOTHING short of FINALS is a pass mark on any season.

Agree with others, get in the market now before every other club is competing for the best available coaching and playing talent.

I reckon this club has two more years to get its act together or disappear down the s-bend under the weight of the AFL clubs and their lickspittle WAFC acolytes advocating for a 8 team comp.

It doesnt surprise me that the club has set a soft KPI for this coach.
Right from the get go they have backed this guy in even with a lack of results,its obvious that someone in the right place likes this guy.

His KPI's for the season should have been finals or gone in fact i think this being his 4th year his KPI's should have been re-assesed every 7 weeks.

To back him in with 10 wins which probably wouldnt be enough to make the 4 is weak!!
So the club doesnt want us to improve,he had 10 wins and didnt play finals last season and they set the same KPI's for this season as an acceptable pass mark....unbelievable!

That is basically what Marty said when he arrived at Perth and now 3 years down the track there could finally be some positive response to that statement.
Don't sit on your hands guys. Make it happen this time and make it happen sooner rather than later.
Of the names mentioned I think Harris is best option and whilst I agree with Falcon that Harris bleeds red and blue I reckon it could be a challenge too hard to refuse. But with other interests in his life he may be difficult to tempt.
My second choice would be Mark Harvey. He is living back in town and has reputedly said that he is interested in coaching again.
I agree with others, "no" to German and Watters. No other names come to mind at the moment but there may be other possibilities out there.
No way can this club win 7 from 11 games especially with the draw as it is.
It is time to move on with "positive action."

Money never sleeps. I don't think the little league gig would be paying many bills.

I agree DD. Money also talks and if we have a decent war chest we are in the game. And anyway there are good Perth supporters who would be willing to put their hands in the pocket if needed to get the right man.
And get the right man we must.

McMahon needs a tap on the shoulder immediately after this game.. Why wait till seasons end?

What a shambles. Hopefully we wake up tomorrow with news we will have a different coach next week
