He's been training with the senior squad. Michael Randall at training tonight. Doddy said tonight they've approached 60 players. Still a couple more from interstate they are speaking with - key back and key forward.

I haven't received a letter either. I received my  membership pack 2 or so weeks ago.

?Maybe later signing members got a letter via traditional mail with their pack, whilst earlier signing members didn't.  All good. 

My five take aways from tonight. 

1 of our players ran a sub 6:30 for the  2 K time trial last year, whilst 25 players from EF did. 😩. So far this year 13 have do - vast improvement.

Good number of supporters in attendance - more would be better. Know you are welcome. Reach out to another member and talk to them. If they aren't so welcoming go on to the next and so on. You will meet as some fantastic people at our club. We are a place for everyone. 
 

Randall is a beast. Just what we need. His clearance tied up with the EP investigation so training on a permit. Got a good sense of humour Doddy had everyone laughing.

No doubt our TPP investigation hanging over us worked against us until now. A new review of the competitive balance of the WAFL is underway..

Good to see all of last seasons recruits there and healthy, Williams, Thorne and Randall there. Parfitt and Broadbent playing in the NTFL. Seems like a pretty good vibe around the place.

Manzone was there I had to ask has he changed his mind on retirement? Was told he's a part time assistant. Good stuff. All the Subi boys that came because of German are no longer there, as expected. Rumble, Pickett and Smith.

For us one out of the three became apparent, the bigger body!

He appeared to me to be a half a step off the pace of others in our mid field group. 

I hope for your clubs sake he goes back to the hype levels before the drug saga. Not too far but .....!

With Crowden and Schumacher leaving East Perth, Randall had the opportunity of becoming our number 1 midfielder. But the reasons and manner in which he left our Club show that he apparently doesn't have what it takes, inside and out.

Like most other East Perth supporters, I used to be a fan, but now I couldn't care if we don't clear him. He can go play Amateurs.

You ideally have a blend of a little bit of everything in your midfield Grump. Our own home grown group are all on the lighter side being Byrne, Davis and Regan Clarke. Hopefully with a fit and healthy cohort of those mentioned plus Constable, Simpson, Parfitt and Thorne we have a nice balanced blend of physical size, height and pace to match the best midfields and trouble the rest.

I think your club just needs to cop it's whack, hopefully suspended like us and release Randall and move on. No doubt going to be a bit spicy between the Demons and the Royals next year. Looking forward to it.

That ain't going to happen OTO unless he is under contract for next year which I severely doubt. No doubt you are frustrated, I know the feeling when Cody Leggett left us. But you couldn't take him back now. Move on.

DD my comments relate only to what he gave us on the field, the rest is just dross. Sad not about his living but the manner.

As for the apparent misdemeanor, not all that fussed as I think we can overcome whatever penalty (albeit hoping it is a rational one).
