Tyrone Thorne is now on our list
Just need to pay the ransom to a couple of East Perth supporters so they can release Michael Randall from hostage.

Tyrone Thorne should be a good mentor for young Robert Warrall who's a similar flyweight who has regularly hit the scoreboard the last couple of seasons in the colts.

Thorne has played about 10 reserves games in the past 2 years.
I hope we are not paying 10 points for him (played 32 league), just to get in the way of the development of Warrell.
I like the look of him.
Warrell that is.

I stand to be corrected, but my understanding of the points system is that Thorne would be 3 points. Randall might be 5. Williams would probably be 10, and I am concerned that is too much. Thorne is likely to battle it out with Kemp for the small forward position. Kemp was reasonable last year. He'd certainly be well ahead of Hayward, and Warrell will need the full year in the reserves to develop.

Given Simpson's injury concerns, I'd be inclined to play him forward primarily to spare him the rigours of playing mid. My preferred forward line is: HF: Stubbs, Schlensog, Simpson. FF: Kemp, Clarke. I don't know who would play in the other pocket. Do we go with a third tall, like Q or Broadbent, or two smalls, so Thorne, plus Kemp? May depend on weather/match ups.

Thorne is a gun. Not sure whats happened to him over the past few years but he was very good a few years ago. EF were always linked to him - so it doesn't surprise he's ended up at Perth now that Doddy is there.

Yes I think Simpson will play half forward and maybe wing if things aren’t going well. Hopefully we can afford to play Schlensog at CHF. He and Clarke should pose some problems to opposition defences. It could depend on whether Scoble or maybe Johnston can hold down CHB.

Perhaps because Peel have played in the last two grand finals and been Premiers on the back of a very strong Fremantle representation.

But he won Peels F&B in 2021 and interesting to note Michael Randall was third in that year. And Fremantle players are eligible to win their award as you can see. I'd say he walks into our best 22 with a leg in the air.

Not sure I like reading this. A lot of ex AFL and WAFL players play the off season in the NTFL these days. Brandan Parfitt is one of them currently playing up there as well as one of our other new recruits Jackson Broadbent.

Zac Moody played up there last year and missed the grand final due to suspension and injury. Only played a handful of reserves games after coming back before getting another season ending injury. You'd think players like to have a rest in the off season. Fingers crossed these guys don't get any serious injuries.

Tyrone Thorne - Height 169CM. Weight 60Kg. Age 23. Not sure how someone this size can have an impact at League Level. All the best to him though.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Averaged just over 19 possessions a game over his 32 game league career in a Fremantle dominated Peel. Coached by Dodd at Peel apparently. Was Dodd a colts coach there or league assistant?

Will see TFAF I think you are way off mate. Has had injuries in the past couple of seasons apparently.
