Great. It’s in the right spot too which is good.

Ok, we can take that one off the To Do list.

Nobody at Perth notice the massive footings needed to support the scoreboard that would have gone in weeks if not months ago?

Looks good though. Will be the best in the competition

Thanks MA. Looks a similar size to the one at Rushton Park. Did Rusty steal the plans before he left?

I didn’t come in that entrance on Saturday ToO. But those steel posts definitely weren’t there.

The members should be able to see 2 or 3 main proposals, Choose one and then see late stages of architectural drawings on the agreed proposal to suggest late changes etc. If the old girl is getting knocked over in June/July 2022 (instead of the original September 2021) then we should be seeing plans right now.

Main things for me are: Get the spectators as close to the game as possible by having the grandstand as close whilst still allowing sun shine to allow the grass to grow. Besides the grand stand bring in spectators closer to the game by such as bringing the food outlets closer to the oval. The bar on the North Eastern Hill should be a permanent fixture, a coffee shop, toilets, seating and cover on the South Eastern side would be good for atmosphere too. Fix the mosh pit of mud around the northern goals.

It is important to have a great history centre, Bring in an expert to enhance the old photo's and have them in some sort of order etc,

Recognise passed families that have kept Perth going either financially or through blood sweat and tears. For example we had only two time keepers for 100 years and they were father and son.

The club should also be trying to raise a million by donations where you should be recognised on the above.

1000 members putting in $100 on the back of some plans, news about some decent new zones, meeting the team of people who from now on are going to be going out and meeting our zones and identifying our talent. This would require  a Futures Coach, three assiatants a manager and property steward plus a team of 4 scouts. Lets meet theses 10 people at the unveiling of the plans and the new zones.

I have heard unofficial Canningvale - which would be ok but we need more than that
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

It was mentioned in The West I think a 900 seat grandstand. That sounds pretty big to me, I doubt the current grandstand would seat 900 but it is really important we do have a lot of capacity in the new facility because nearly half the ground has been stripped of it's previous spectator area to accommodate the Eagles.

It is also important there be a decent area for opposition supporters so they don't infiltrate our supporter and members areas. I'm old school, I don't like opposition supporters mingling in the home teams areas unless by invitation. That's how it used to be and that's the way it should be.

What we also need is bars behind glass that can view the game from inside like the ones at Peel, Subi and EP. I assume they can do that at Claremont.

Agreed. As with everything it is a small minority who ruin it for everyone. Another way to solve the problem (and one i would be definitely behind) would be to kick WP out of the competition and restore the league’s integrity. We can only dream
