All those years ago when the concept of this redevelopment was conceptualised the plan was always for PFC to share WCE facilities (on game and training days) while our new rooms and stand are built.  There was plenty of room on the outer for crowds while the new construction was underway.  Keep in mind demolition will take part in the off season.  As for the offices, there are plenty of offices nearby that can be rented for an interim term.. there is no need to move to basso or any other oval - the only issues are $$$ and who will control the bars and income.

Games will still be played at Lathlain, They'll use temporary change rooms during construction.
So no crowds?

Who would know? We're struggling to get a scoreboard sorted at the moment so just another one to add to the list.

Personally, I'd like to see it be members only. The rest of you can watch it on FRS.
Obviously the area around where the current stand is now would not be available for people to watch the footy.  Between the two ovals on the wing there would be little room.  It doesn't seem to me to make sense to try to play games there under those circumstances.  Surely playing at Basso would make more sense including financially for Perth and its members/supporters?
Why would Perth supporters risk life and limb by going up all the way up to Bogandean when it's only 12 minutes through the Polly Pipe to Leederville?

I doubt your oval could handle 3 matches being played every week. I’d be happy to use Claremont Showgrounds. I quite enjoyed going there, could drive right in and park for free. Not sure the boutique Claremont shire would be as accomodating for plebs from the eastern suburbs.

I read on a Facebook post that it looks like the WCEW side wants to share the PFC grandstand and club rooms.  Apparently the Town of VP are pushing for this and for WCE to control the bar and coffee shop.   This is apparently the trade off for the $$$$ from T of VP and the WCE.

to support this claim another fella mentioned that his receipt from the PFC members bar are now printing out WCE eftpos receipts.

additionally Fraser McInnes has quit his secondary duties at the club, which apparently had something to do with being a liaison for the facilities.

I cannot confirm any of this and am hoping some of you guys can give some further information on the subject.  Because if any of this is true - I think we may be looking at a new home.
Do you have the link to the Facebook post?

Great that it it's going ahead , lets hope it happens.

Cannot see why Perth can't just play on at Latho, the oval will be fine and the WCE facilties are there.

A temp bar on the hill or whatever, most games are only around the 1500 mark anyway

Should play at Aquinas Oval not a bad view.

The bar at the outer entrance behind the scoreboard. Only a little hill. Maybe a mound?
