I read on a Facebook post that it looks like the WCEW side wants to share the PFC grandstand and club rooms.  Apparently the Town of VP are pushing for this and for WCE to control the bar and coffee shop.   This is apparently the trade off for the $$$$ from T of VP and the WCE.  

to support this claim another fella mentioned that his receipt from the PFC members bar are now printing out WCE eftpos receipts.  

additionally Fraser McInnes has quit his secondary duties at the club, which apparently had something to do with being a liaison for the facilities.  

I cannot confirm any of this and am hoping some of you guys can give some further information on the subject.  Because if any of this is true - I think we may be looking at a new home.

December.  Yes and it’s my understanding that there are a few very disgruntled members preparing to ask a few tough questions at the agm.  I’ve read a few questions being asked on FB with no reply from the club and a few days later the questioning posts deleted from the FB page. Not sure if the club deleted the questions or the asker did it themselves.   

I think many supporters and members were expecting a more successful year (after last year) and are becoming disgruntled and wanting answers. On and off the field.  

Sounds like a takeover doesn't it? Could we be selling off our soul PD?
Why is there no news about this from the club? Some sort of explanation is needed.
Whatever is happening, members should be fully informed and at least have some say, even an Exreaordinary General Meeting of members. Where there is smoke the will also be an inferno.

I will presume to suggest that the questions are put in writing and sent to the club well before your AGM.   If that is done then those at the AGM will be able to demand that there is a full explanation.

That mob get want they want. They are dictators. It's not the WAFC. Should be the WCEFC.

TOVP probably wants the WCE as the sole tenant so it can charge higher rates like they did after the Eagles new facilities were completed. They sent the valuers in and bingo it was valued at about 30 million from memory and charged rates according to its annual lease value.

I can see us being a sub tenant if we aren't already but we need to have complete control of our facilities and not end up like West Perth did with Venues West..

If we end up with anything like that scenario I'd rather walk away and look for new digs out in the middle of the southern growth areas . 

I know this will probably be an unpopular view but the WACA is being converted back into a football  oval would sort of be like returning home..I know it didn't work during the 90s but 30 years later who knows.
Obviously I would prefer to stay at Lathlain but not if we are going to be bent over in the process.

Disgraceful state of affairs if it turns out to be true. The richest club in the AFL bullying a local state league club, that's how it needs to be portrayed in the media, might be hard to get any coverage as it's all owned by Ch 7Eagles. The fact that your own clubs admin isn't answering questions is a big worry. Unlike EP, your not a financial basket case which was the driving reason for EP to sell their souls. No one even the reasonably minded EP people give any credence to their alignment success, the same would be the case if Perth did the same, games will be won, even flags but no one will give a rats. How dare WC penny pinch by taking over those facilities, if true it confirms they are a disgrace.
