A couple of notes from the last meeting on August 3rd. Tonight's meeting will probably be uploaded to this link tomorrow I'd say so just keep an eye out for when it is and you should be able to see what the decision was and any comments made from Councillors. Hopefully it went our way.

One thing I find intriguing on this forum is the misguided conspiracy theories.
Just browsed over the minutes of the last Council meeting.
There does not appear to be any mention of the WCE.
In fact it appears the recommended management of the facility is "independent ".
The only football Club mentioned is PFC with whom planning meetings continue to be held.
So to all you experts on all things PFC unfortunately for you there will be no takeover by WCE.
And alignment will not occur without the members agreeing.
The future of the PFC seems rosey to me.
Sad isn't it.

DF, these 'conspiracy theories" stem from a lack of communication from the club. The only emails I ever get are asking me to buy stuff at the auction - the reasons for the cancellation of which still haven't been communicated. I'd be more inclined to part with my money if the club could say what is going on, rather than have members look up minutes of TOVP meetings. So we are suffering injuries, backing up finals with a wooden spoon, likely losing 11 straight games, crowd numbers are falling, colts are winless with 35%. When rumours surface of financial problems, is it any wonder some people fear the worst? 

I hear you Ted and agree re communication.
But I do think posts do need some credence.

It was one of your own that raised the conspiracy in the first place, so dont criticise others for joining in, bit like all the conspiracies about Subi, plenty were happy to jump onto those unfounded claims

Are you sure junior hasn’t been spreading those unsubstantiated rumours around on other mediums SS?

Only drove past quickly this morning but it looks like a big scoreboard is getting built. Will try and go past later this afternoon and get a picture.

I see Reece Conca has been delisted by Freo. At 29 he'd be a good fit for you blokes if he decided to return to Perth FC.

Hopefully Reece still feels a connection from his time at the Demons where he didn’t just play colts I think he played about 4 - 6 league games before he got drafted by Richmond as their first pick. There used to be a chilli mussel joint on Shepperton road called Concas, not sure if it was his parents but probably related. It’s now a shisha bar. Peel seem to be pretty good at convincing ex Fremantle players to play for them but he’s only played a few games for them this year.
