I can actually see a scenario where Elijah Taylor finds his way back here. I haven't heard news he's signed with any VFL clubs who probably don't want him and Victoria is still high risk in terms of lockdowns and I can't see him having the discipline to follow the rules in a lockdown, whereas in WA we have the luxury of no community spread in a long time.

If he were to come back I would leave it to the player group and coaches to decide and let him know it's not his fancy footwork that will impress them. He needs to earn the respect of the group on and off the field.

He's been very lucky he didn't get sent to jail for what he did.

Not really KFC personally I think he’s a dickhead tbh. I’m just predicting what might play out and given by default he is a Perth player if he returns from Victoria. We don’t want dickheads unsettling and distracting the entire club. I think he rates himself too much.

I believe that Jacob Payne is back at the club and training. Good news.
He will add to our depth in more ways than one.

Yes that’s good Smokey. We also need Blake Johnson to return so as to add some depth and back up in the key forward area, now that Loersch is out for the season.

I concur.

I think the answer is clear - Blake Johnson must play at FF. I rate the kid highly and would love to see him settled into that position. He never had a good chance at proving his worth. I think now with other decent unselfish forwards around him and a good midfield delivering to him - he’ll be great.

I agree. He is a good size and can play that position. Delivery will be a key. If we just bomb the ball in it won’t work for anyone. With support from Fraser in the pocket and a couple of good crumbers around him, say Stubbs and McPartland, he can develop into a good key forward.
The question remains - is he back?

Dont see a problem with giving the boy a second chance, Swans did it with Krack, Subi with Yarran after both had been in trouble, some work out, some dont but all deserve a 2nd chance, hopefully he decides to come back to WA and play some quality WAFL footy.

I see Chapman Jones has signed with WP now after playing 5 ressies games for us in 2016, then playing ammos. Does anyone remember him?
