I agree Ted re- 14 goals per game.
Loersch needs a 40 goal year,small crumbing forward would be handy maybe some of the midfielders rotate through the forward line.
Also for mine our backline needs to be much tighter.

Hunter is a big call Satan IMO. He is not yet on the senior list. I think Zac Hill will fill that role at CHB. He rediscovered his confidence late in the season.
I think McInness will line up in a forward pocket as he did last year and the Sheriff will start at CHF.
Remains to be seen how Reid and Hitchcock go and from what we heard last night don't be surprised if Oscar Bird is in the reckoning.
Otherwise a good effort this early. The one thing that has developed is depth.
And I agree that if Loersch is to play at FF we need 40-50 goals from him.

Good to have options.

I wouldn't have any of the new players in the starting line up. They would have to be playing well at reserves level first. So I'd have Hill ahead of Hunter, and guys like Nicholas, Edmonds, Clarke ahead of Reid and Hitchcock. Those guys, and Bird, have not played WAFL at league level so they need to show form in the reserves over at least 3 games before they can push for a league game.

I think if you have a top pre season,training the house down and show good scratch match form there’s no reason why any player can’t play round 1.

I'm interested by Satan's suggestion of Hunter in the team for round one.
Not because I think he should be in those thoughts for round one, but I was wondering if he might get an opportunity to debut during 2021.
I like the look of him and he was in my thinking for a debut at some stage.
And I like his obvious versatility.

My team was more of a Best 22, not necessarily round 1. As others suggest some may need a run in the ressies first. I expect Hunter will probably be in this category.

Fair enough, Satan. We can only hope we are building some depth. If we take your 22 as a starting point, we could add Cary, DBW, Davis, Nicholas, Hill, Edmonds, Burke, Regan Clarke and perhaps Bird as guys who can play well at league level. Hopefully we won't have to test our depth to this extent, but there is another tier of players who should at least be able to play a role: Browne, Langdon, Roe, Peletier, Quill.
