Good point. We are not talking about Brett Spinks here.
Maybe give DBW a chance to play as a tall forward. He could develop into a key forward but may need another couple of seasons to fulfil potential.

My spy tells me that Loersch is having surgery (don't know the nature of it but seems major) but should be ready to go for 2022. Long way off just have to wait and see what develops. A possibilty that he may not be right to continue with footy, I suppose.
Jacob Payne also has a hip problem and out for this season.

An interesting one Cesspit. DBW can kick a goal as we saw in the Claremont game last season.
Perhaps he should be considered an option but could he take the big mark, lead and pick the ball up from the ground and would he have a defensive aspect to his play.

Odd injury- is it a ground issue? Don’t see may hip injuries that require surgery at such young ages

Not likely KCEF. The ground is in perfect condition and we have been playing on it now for several seasons. It could just be an unfortunate injury. I believe that he crashed to the ground heavily in a marking duel.
He is a big boy and as they say, "the bigger they are the harder they fall".

Yes definitely a ground issue KFC. Our groundsman is also our recruitment manager. He just cannot take a trick.

Trevor Williams is our football manager and he is a teacher. Hardly think he is our groundsman as you put it and pretty sure the TOVP or the WCE would take care of that.

Sounds like it might have been one of those awkward ones where another player tunnels underneath and he’s landed hip first. A little bit early for contested ball work maybe?

Yes, he's come off the Senior players list on our club's site. Loersch has come off too which makes sense, but interestingly Elijah Taylor has been put on it. Surely he's no chance to come back to WA and play? All 3 are still on the WAFL list as Perth players.

Colts Jaiden Hunter, Zac Meloncelli and Deklyn Grocott were all recent additions to the senior list as well

I agree re-Loersch he’s no Spinks but at that height he was worth the punt.
You guys see more in DBW than I do.
Stubbs was recruited as a key FF play him there and McIness at CHF
I would also give Corey Byrne more time forward.

Good to see those Colts boys on the senior list. It will be interesting to see how they develop playing against men. I do not know much about Grocott but the other two definitely good prospects for the future.
Also noted that Bailey Kane is now on the senior list. A big boy. I hope that he develops at senior level. He was on our Colts list last season but did not play a game.
I would think that Elijah Taylor is on our list purely because he reverts to PFC following his delisting by Sydney Swans. It would seem unlikely he will play for us as he has stated that wants to go to the VFL. A very talented player but very troubled. Not sure we would want him anyway as we have a very solid and settled squad. Just MHO.
