Bazza, those charges couldn't of been that serious mate for that ex EP Sandover medallist mate.....pretty easy to whittle out a few possibilities, none of which made headlines for non footy deeds......or is this another footy god corruption cover up? Sadly a few too many of those from back in the day that were swept under the rug.

It made news, it was a nasty incident - but not as serious as Cables,

Yes old Tom loves being the “media darling”but I’ll give him his due he did tip me a winner at the Bunbury races about a quarter of a century ago,which he said was his horse,but when I looked at the race book,he was one of about a dozen owners,so he probably owned a bit of his tail.

The bloke is always defending filth. That’s how he makes a living. No different here.
