Some will say it's a dumb decision, some will say it's a smart decision. I say it's a risky decision because you are essentially punting that the future is going to be better than the present. And there is no certainty of that.

So you're quite comfortable that we're all locked away for the foreseeable future with no travel, interstate sport, businesses struggling for lack of tourists dollars, can't connect with family and friends who don't reside in this place and the list goes on all because of the incompetence of McClown and Cooked who couldn't get our health system ready after 2 years?   So that's all ok with you is it?  If so, then I find it extremely disappointing.

Pretty comfortable, its about 98% on the positive and about 2% on the negative for my reckoning,

Common sense decision,particularly after i've read how the the poor Doctors,nurses and parademics who have been forced to work 13 hour shifts, are physically and emotionally spent dealing with the so called ''harmless'' omicron variant.The public hospital system never has and never will,  be able to cope with this astronomical pandemic,and expecting Mr Magoo to commandeer the hospital system to cope with a contagious disease, which has the E.S.STATES public health system bursting at the seams, at its peak is crazy,so i've got no problem with this latest delay,particularly when my kids are about to get back to school and are yet to receive their booster.

When I heard he was holding a press conference - I actually thought he may be bringing forward the open up date. 

I reckon this is a bad move by Mark. 

I would prefer 5 weeks of pain now and then lets get on with it.

Do we really have to pause everything further for people over 90 or people with the like of Cystic Fibrosis, Cronic Kidney disease who are on Dialysis (3 times a week for 3-4 hours a pop), Chronic Heart failure, Morbid Obesity, Uncontrolled and not looked after Diabetes, the homeless, Cerebral palsy, Alzheimers and the like. We have done an amazing job of looking after these people btw - but there are other factors to factor in public health that seemed to be being ignored.

We have all been vaxed and are toeing the line on these filthy masks (that people wear for days and leave on tables - adjust constantly - discussing things). 

Time to let the cards fall where they may.

One day the borders will fully open. So many theories floating about why McGowen has chosen this path. I don’t really care to be fucking honest, all I ask is for the politicians to stop slinging at each other, stop being political robots because when the borders do open who will be right and who will be wrong. I don't why your throwing dialysis patients in the mix TFA,as far as i'm aware,they have got they're own ,medical facilities at Charlies with their own designated nurses,as i'm sure royal perth do as well,and in my experience their ages are quite varied so i really can't see your point.
