I'd prefer for the borders to open up which means inevitably Covid starts to raise its ugly head even more so than it is now, things get back to a relative new normal, McGowan to become yesterday's man and he's then held accountable for all the other issues around the place like law and order, homelessness, public housing, no tourists, the economy when iron ore prices start to tank and so on. He was a political lightweight for a long time and fell into the top job by being at the right place at the right time. Those sorts of pollies eventually get found out and I have no doubt he will too. Now that is my preference Mcbobby boy.

WA Health expert on ABC breakfast this morning saying that due to WA's exceptionally high vax rate, now one of the highest in the world, will result in a much lower peak in Omicron cases, many wont even know they have it. I hope that is the case and if so, why are we waiting to open up. Numbers in the east are rapidly dropping and they are almost restriction free except for aged care and the like, the most vulnerable ones.

Come on Mr McGoo, grow a pair and give us an opening date and then stick to it. Otherwise in a months time that current 64% approval rate will be something you can only dream of.

Hospitality industry will be pleased, they were lobbying hard for the 2m2 in lieu of the 4m2.
75% capacity for Optus, not a big issue apart from WC v Freo games, most games v ES clubs are high 30k -low 40k.
No capacity issues for WAFL obviously, maybe only Westcoastlain or Cl ovals might get close to 75% capacity if those teams are performing well.

Lets get on with it.

Thank farrrk for that, is he finally reading the tea leaves? Has he timed it right so he can spend time with the family after he gives evidence in the Sydney Supreme Court and not have to apply for a G2G pass to get back in? Will incoming still have to quarantine?

75% doesnt pose any issues for WAFL I can see.

He did flag Stage 2 restrictions down the track though.

That might mean going to 4m2 and 50% capacity, again not an issue for WAFL apart from restrictions in the club bars perhaps.

Hopefully we should be on the road to a bit of normality.  Perhaps you can rebuild a close relationship with Mark Mc DD?
