Like I keep saying, the man just hates sport. He is not a West Australians arsehole, he has no idea about being a West Australian. He is a NSW imposter and nothing but someone who has made a living off the public purse and greased his way to the top. Navy boy, local councilor and Labor politician. He knows nothing about the psyche of West Australians. We live in a state with fantastic weather so we grow up loving the outdoors and playing sport, hence we love our sport.

He is an insult to West Australians. He has financially ruined our national sporting teams in this state and continues to do serious damage and has passed up a golden opportunity to bring the Commonwealth Games to Perth. probably a good thing because this clown will most likely still be in power if there are enough fuck heads who will still vote for him. Better we have a West Australian premier if we bring the Commonwealth Games to Perth in the future who appreciates sport.

inclinded to agree, shows ZERO interest in genuine opportunites to promote the State and get some big international events here, all very well to say we scored the AFL GF, but look at the stuff we have lost, Hopman Cup, Heineken Classic, Test Match, Red Bull event, we have bugger all here yet have the best facilities and climate for these big events, one would of thought after smashing the states hospitality industry we would be grabbing every opportunity we could to fill hotel rooms, catering businesses, transport companies, you name it..but Nup hand it all over to the East.

Nope...talk about good money after bad as NSW announces pretty much all restrictions to end in coming days so why would they want to come here?. Sure they've got relatively high infection numbers compared to everywhere else but with only 1500 in hospital and less than 100 in ICU, they don't give a stuff. Domenic Parrot head will be laughing at WA very soon and with good reason after the constant bagging McClown has given him.

Word is that the borders will open on the weekend of March 12.

That't what I am hearing, last 48 hrs my work org is really starting to ramp up its outbreak prep, looking like a lot of folk are going to off crook or in iso.

Well we have been laughing at NSW for the past 2 years and the way they handled everything. 
So if we cop some flack for a month or 2, im ok with that.  
Surely WA has out performed every other state in any COVID impact indicator over the last 2 years.  

Yes but that's all about to change. I can't wait to get it so I can go overseas for work but don't particularly want to be struck down in Mumbai or Jakarta so better off getting crook here.

BC, i guess one person in ICU is bad enough let alone 100....only tme folk will give a stuff about being in ICU, if it's them in that ICU bed or a loved one....definitely  not a place to be to spend  a Sat night....or any night to be honest.....

But great to see despite a noted jump in COVID numbers in WA, nil folk needing an ICU or even a hospital bed....similar big spike over here in NZ....1400+ cases, but little wear n tear on the health system....fingers crossed it stays that way.for both WA & NZ folk.

So we keep the borders closed this year but MM has to quit?  And youd be happy with that?
