Chesty...I agree with you that no matter what anyone thinks of McClown and what he's doing with this state, he doesn't deserve to have himself or his family physically threatened by a bunch of lunatics.  My question is why does he give those threats air time by talking about it to the press?  Why doesn't he just let the police do their work in the background, finds these clowns, name, shame and jail them?  To me it just sounds like he's after a bit of sympathy to slow down the slide in the polls.  Internal polling must show this tough guy approach he's had over the last couple of years is wearing thin with the electorate but he's locked himself into a corner by keeping the borders closed....so maybe by being the victim, he gets people thinking like we do...that these types of threats are not on...interested in your thoughts being a McClown lover.

BC I know you asked Bond but I would suggest that it might be the Police media that is raising the issue as a way of warning folks that if you behave this way we will get you and you will be given an appropriate punishment. Also I think singling McGowen out is a bit .... any state or even industry leader would raise an alarm at this type of behaviour, as for sympathy I think that are more deserving folk for that emotion especially some on this forum.

The only concrete evidence that I have seen is the young bloke at the start of all of this who was convicted and fined for phoning the clown and calling him a p..fter looking c..t (which he is, but I would have added little), whilst fully tanked. Grump...it was McClown who brought up the threats to his wife and kids at a presser yesterday where he called the perpetrators cowards.  I don't disagree with him but why bring it out in public thereby encouraging others to get their 15 minutes of fame by doing similar?
