It sounds to me Chesty that you're one of the brigade who sleep with the lights on and want the state to be locked up forever so we don't have to deal with something that for most of us will be like a mild flu or similar.  Death rates currently are around 0.02% in Australia with the average age of 83.  So here's an idea...let's open up the state like everywhere else in the world and you stay home with the curtains drawn and lights off, and we'll happily deliver food parcels once a week until you think it's safe to come out.
