Italy for me and it might be sooner rather than later.  Beautiful country with great food, wine and reciprocal health arrangements with Australia.

The want testing, plus a EU approved Green Pass to get into pretty much any place, you need to have an EU approved Vaccine to get the Green pass, they also require a Mask at all outdoor and indoor locations, cant say wearing a mask all over the place on holiday really appeals to me. to hard for now.

UK has no testing requirements and open entry for all fully vaccinated. seems pretty simple.

The wife needs to do a mercy dash back to Cyprus to see her dad, her mum died last year and he's there all alone, that is the priority for us at the moment, I won't be going just her. Travel insurance is the problem.

 

Yep. For the wife and I, it will be for an extended period when it happens but I need to go to Finland for work first which apparently isn't too bad for restrictions.

I just saw this on LinkedIn and thought it was pretty funny.

Residential colleges and boarding schools are in limbo still waiting on some clarity from McGoo, thats something he really struggles with. It's all a bit adhoc at the moment but gradually we are seeing some common sense appearing with things like cutting the iso time for those entering from the ES to 7 days home iso. The Bride and I have been out and about down Freo way to a few cafes and the like and have had no problem with the check in, Vax passport or masking up, especially when you can remove it once your seated, bit silly but I'll take it. All places were very busy with no issues from the punters or staff.

I'm still struggling to understand how I can wander around my local Woolies at Port Coogee with no restrictions other than a mask but as soon as I walk 10 feet though an adjoining door into BWS, I have to show my vaccination certificate and driver's license. It's not a big deal for me to do so but it doesn't make any sense that's for sure.

Have to draw the line somewhere.  I guess its inhumane to keep those anti-vaxxers out of the supermarket buying food. 
Keeping them out of the bottleshop leaves more for the rest of us normal humans.
