With the lockdown to end at 12.00 midnight on Friday at the earliest, I cannot see this weekends WAFL round going ahead as scheduled. If the lockdown ends on Saturday and the footy goes ahead they will certainly not allow crowds. 

Mike I'm sure I heard McGowan say it ends midnight Saturday. I reckon they will postpone this week's matches.

I think it ends on midnight friday night going into Saturday morning. That would be 4 days from midnight tonight.

If it is a 4 day lockdown that would take us to the end of Friday.

if this weeks games are postponed, we will be pushing the season out by another week, because there are no more bye rounds.

My bad, found the full presser, he mentioned coming out of it on Saturday, hopefully. Have they said anything about sport? I reckon the WAFL clubs will cancel training from tomorrow. If they can't train all week I can't see them playing this weekend.

It would be a miracle if the past is anything to go by if this ends Friday, I would bet on this dragging on for weeks, we have locked down the entire city for 3 cases, and in Australia there is a total of 2 I repeat 2 people in Hospital as result of this "deadly virus". 

You can forget crowds at WAFL this weekend and thousands of WA families can forget school holiday trips.

Who was the lunatic that opened the State borders to let this in?
