I don't work for the footy commission, I have just spent a lot of time at local clubs, I think I have a good grasp on what's going on within them.

Haaa that's funny stuff , bemoan players being drained out of grassroots but seek to establish another separate competition that will logically take even more ?
Smell the coffee geez there's something entirely different in that cup over there

For all those who think that the WAFC is doing such A WONDERFUL JOB have a look at the comments from Ron Alexander in today's Sunday Times. I can't wait to see the explanations and rationalisations.

Ditto Grump I may not be supportive of what your club has done but I certainly acknowledge the huge commitment that volunteers such as you make towards their club.

U mean a comp that would consider all stakeholders? Wow how good would that be. All tiers sitting around the table nutting out a solution that benefits everyone?

Probably never going to happen because of similar attitudes to yours that are deep within wafl clubs.

I can guarantee one thing that would come out of it. The giant prawning net that rips thru the junior clubs would become a hell of a lot smaller.

Okay a very simple challenge. Specifically name the junior club and the year where due to players required to play for Swans colts caused that junior club's team to fold.

Ah my attitude is to try fathom how it's the WAFL clubs fault there's an AFL dragnet that has to scoop up 90 kids or more each year via it's state egg baskets
And how grassroot clubs wont be further affected by this glory hole
Geez there's been some talent raped out of this state & it isn't in WAFL ranks
But hey hatch that chicken instead of the egg

Southerner apparently according to uhtb the WAFC is doing a wonderful job running the juniors yet:

Who organises the under 16 matches that are played between the WAFL clubs?

who organises the 18s carnival that means a lot of colts' players aren't available to play colts during that period?

Why is there such a drop-out around 16-17 years of age?

Apparently it is only the WAFL clubs' fault.

You didn't comment on my comparing the costs you are alleging are required to be paid with what a parent would be required to pay to get private tennis coaching lessons for their that would be well in excess of $1,000 per year when taking into account restrings, tournament fees, club fees etc.
