Do what u do but not at the expense of real grass roots football.

The shit players need a spot too. Not just the best.

uhtb if the colts are removed from the WAFL clubs that WILL BE THE END OF THE WAFL. No ifs, no buts, no maybes.

Apart from the obvious loss of draft money, there would be no future. There would be no players coming through the system. I would also confidently predict that the drop out rate in the colts age group would be exponentially increased.

Do a deal with the wafc, let them have teams in the comp, lock away talent development * under conditions that suit the wafc, and ensure the future of the wafl.

Pretty simple. U will then be an active part of the most relevant comp in the country.

uhtb thank you for your honesty . The truth has finally come out the WAFC is ACTIVELY and DELIBERATELY causing the WAFC to fold. What an absolute disgrace. I have supported Swans from the 1960s: would I want Swans to be a party to the complete prostitution of the WAFL? No I would not. As sad as it would be to see Swans and the WAFL fold to have any integrity there would be no other choice.

I have no idea which WAFC you are or whether you are just a plant but rest assured what is being proposed will ensure the demise of the WAFL occurs and it will happen BEFORE 2020 season. When that happens I trust you and the WAFC will share a drink in celebration.

20 years at ammos and another 20 at juniors.
The only demise of the wafl will be on its own shoulders when they are too stubborn to realise the place in the world.

Hopefully they wake up and smell the coffee, or its bust

Look, we are never going to agree, I think both our money is on a few changes.

Why don't we call it quits, head over to the freo forum and remind them what a shit club they are?

Especially after today...

Great insight from someone actually involved in the true grass roots footy tier and actually still is....well done Tugboat....great read......everyone has their opinion and their reasons / agenda behind this argument.....very true the WAFL aint the be all footy for many folk here in WA.....if it was the crowds would be greater on match day I guess......

.......hopefully 42 got his answer in regards to his SDFC district grilling and which part of the WAFC you work for Tugboat....never ever push that SDFC red button.....more dangerous than Trump and his red button mate..

...but come end of the day.... if change is coming, the WAFL clubs ensure they realise they arent the only clubs providing a game of footy during winter......the AFL are gonna win....as frustrating as it is.....money talks......does all the time......hopefully WAFL gooduns like 42, Grassy et al and their stubborness and passion keep the WAFL alive and ditto to Tugboat and his passion for tiers below....without footy we are all farked TBH....well I know I am

Rest assured Freezin I will support Swans to the day Swans or I expire. Unfortunately, the "fat lady" is warming up in the wings. Mozart's Requiem is about to be played.

Unless the WAFC is TOLD to do their job in ensuring that the WAFL is to remain by the incoming Labor Government then I can't see the WAFL surviving for the 2020 season.
