Moved on to Alex Carey mate....no doubt you will take the piss out him for not being a West Australian ....but Travis did bat well.....played a captains knock....not bad for the youngest skipper on Aust domestic scene eh mate?.....Strikers on top, SA played in recent Shield finals....must be doing something right.....it is strange though Mitch Marsh had suddenly found some maturity in the longer form at the elite level SINCE becoming WA skipper....all I am saying is that Head could do the same if given a chance a test level.... because he has showed the same maturity and improvement in his own game since being SA skipper as Marsh in shield cricket....

.but hey mate you are anti non WA as Nannes & Geeves are anti WA mate....you three are more a like than you would like to think...LOL

Head's problems are with his technique, not his maturity or anything else.
that's what you should be looking at.

How many more about faces can this government achieve in the space of a few months? First it was Perth Modern, then School of the Air and now the ridiculous decision to limit the BBL final. I think McGowan ought to change his nickname from "sneakers" to "flip flop".

Fark me dead if we are looking at technique then, if Steve Smith was evaluated/judged on technique alone at the age of 22/23 he would be still playing for NSW or grade cricket today in MO and BH selection criteria......

never said Head was a champ, just think at his young age he has shown some positive signs on the cricketing field compared with others learning their craft at a similar age with less distractions of worrying about bowling changes fielding placements, etc...... ..

...just looking at a wider picture I guess then technique alone ......pleased as punch tho MO and BH weren't Aust selectors when Smith was finding his way at Heads age a few years ago ...surely Head must be one of the youngest state captains in Shield cricket for some time..... hopefully Head can iron out his technique deficits and win over MO and BH nod of approval.

Who seen Adelaide's catch last night. The ball was caught then threw 25 metres to the neatest fieldsman. Before crossing the boundary line.

What bemuses me is that this stadium was 6 years in the making and 5 minutes before the game, this twit and his cronies suddenly decide we have to have a cap. Makes you confident in his ability to plan ahead for WA.

What could be more bemusing is that it was 6 years in the making and it isn't finished and all access not quite ready.

The state government accepted practical completion and took ownership a couple of months ago jack so I guess you can put it down to flip flop and Mick Murray as well.
