Crikey blimey no Sinkers and no Spence is no good news. Key forward and key back will not be playing and that spells trouble given that we have been WP's bunnies for a while now. We never get blown away but we never get too close either.

We don't seem to have an effective tagger in the Club at the moment, someone who has a game but is prepared to sacrifice it for the team. We are tending to use guys who are not yet at the stage of having a game themselves. This means Black and Nelson just carve us up. Finding someone to shut at least one of these guys down is a key.

And they don't seem to have too much trouble scoring against us either. Riddoch kicked his only bag last year against us and is in better shape and form this year.

There are opportunities to be had here, maybe a Lenny Marlin gets a gig but boy oh boy we are going to have to be fully switched on for 120 to be in this.

We need to be switched on completely for this game and make smart decisions with the ball.

Loosing Spencer, Ninyette and Sinclair is a big blow.

Out of the players coming back from injury and the ones playing in the reserves I'd be looking at bringing in Lennon Marlin and Sam Garstone to play up forward. To play down back I would be looking at bringing in Kristian Morisey, Mitch Lague or Redmond Dobson.

Can Kurtis Chester come in and play a negating role on either Black or Nelson?

A big ask for the boys this week. This will be a test of depth, which we don't have much of.
Stopping Nelson and Black? Perhaps impossible but we need CJ, Yeo and Byrner to do their job. Perhaps Obi One Giobbi can do some sought of tagging job.
We will need some height down back. I don't quite know why Dobson was dropped last week but he should come into the side and time for Morisey to return.
I agree Marlon will be needed. He has shown some good form in last two weeks. I hope Sam Garstone is fit to play otherwise we have only Marsh Jones as a tall up forward. Possibly now is the time to throw Joey Ugle into the fray as a small forward.
Christian Eyres was injured late in the game last week. If he doesn't come up then we are in big trouble.
I don't want to sound negative but I do feel some bad vibes about this game. But then I am a very bad judge according to some so who knows what will happen.

You and I both Smoke. Dobson has to come back, I didn't spot a big problem with his last league game either. Forward line is going to have a crazy day out and make use of just about every inside 50. Dare I say it - does Papertalk come in? I think he played bush last week. He has kicked some goals for us and you never know.....

Some interesting facts in regards to this match. Although realise it is still early in the season.
At the time of writing West Perth have scored one more goal that Perth with the Falcons having 49 to Perths 48.
Both teams have a For score of 331 points. Thus far into the season, Perth have 91 Scoring shots to The Falcons 86. I won't give Perth any good wraps because as soon as I do, their games go pear-shaped quickly. The other match of Swans v East Freo is going to be the match of the round. This game should be a very good match especially with the weather conditions being forecasted as being fine.

Papertalk played for Chapman Valley in the GNFL on Sat....kicked a goal....has he left Perth and gone home?.....would of been a cracker v WP if White and Ninyette were playing...still u never know eh?

Fairly certain Papertalk played a Reserves match for Perth a fortnight ago (v's East Fremantle). As far as I'm aware no injuries were sustained from said match. And if he was out through injury, he wouldn't be playing country footy I wouldn't have thought. One can only conclude he's pulled the pin on Perth?

Yep, Papertalk did play ressies a couple of weeks ago but he is no longer listed on the senior list.

I wonder which WAFL Club will be his next port of call.
