Every season for the past few we have an injury list early in the season that’s larger than most.
Also players seem to take longer to come back from injury eg.a player that’s tipped to be out for 4 weeks ends up being out for 8.

Do we have the right conditioning people in place?

Good question 30 +, I'm ashamed to say I don't know who/she is. Certainly appears an area of concern, not just through the injuries but also the last quarter fade outs.
Sinclair has a chronic ankle problem, achilles, I believe. Plays with pain every week. Now out with a broken finger/thumb atm.
Tarzan has his own personal trainer business. Has built his upper body, perhaps too much to the detriment of lower body hence frequent hamstring and other leg and back problems.
Eyres broke a bone in his foot last week. I saw it happen and thought "oh no!!!" We desperately needed him to stay fit.
It all adds up to a lack of depth. We just don't have the players to effectively take up the cause and offset multiple losses through injury. I would assume that there are other players playing with pain every week.

Does anyone know exactly how Jared Bell is tracking????

I know all teams get injuries from time to time, but with us its always the most critical players. Our only Ruckman. Our only Full Forward. Our best small forward. Our best Defender and arguable best player.

Good question 30+.
We have been told every year since 1854 that we are the fittest we have ever been,
Sadly it is all bullshit.
We are so far behind other Clubs it is a joke.
Sadly I fear it is about time to send a clear message.
Get fit or else.

I don't really think running out games has been a problem for a while has it? Kept coming against ef and ep and peel always going to come in the last with the breeze. Had to be fit to have the 3rd q we did down there.
It is about depth and lack thereof and that is the zone, zone, zone.
And I'm still getting over Brett Hodge's career ending injury....

We haven’t been able to play four qrts for a while. Last week it was the first qrt and the week before that it was the last qrt.

We do lack depth, that is correct and our zone could be better. However I don’t think the club has worked the current zone enough.

To simply say that our zone doesn’t give us good players for me is a bit of a cop out. If we were doing everything within our powers to work our zone and try to get the maximum out of it and were still getting nothing then fair enough. I just think that the clubs stance cries a bit of poor me and you need give it to us rather than us putting the hard work in.

Oh dear! Just saw the half time score and looking great for the Falcons. And looking not so good for Perth. I realise there are some important Outs for the Home team. It appears they can't get their hands on the footy? Way behind in the Ball Disposals and only 4 Goals in a half of footy.

I'm a happy Demons supporter.
We got within 15 goals.
Well done I suppose the pig pen clapped them off the ground.
Listened on the radio we are a disgrace and it's not the kid's faulty.
Darryle Mann and the Board need to step aside.

Another WAFL season with the same teams winning and the same teams losing. What cloud are the commission living under? The competition is fucked and I am so over it. What can we do because as far as I can see they are happy for it to continue.

It was the debacle that I feared would happen. Just a light training session for the Falcons. Down by 9 goals at half time we showed a bit of grunt thereafter but still lost by 10 goals.
Black 24 possessions, Nelson 35. Leggett 36 and Byrne 26 tried hard but had very little support. Sadly, we had no game plan and no real idea about the basics of the game. When in position to kick a goal it was generally a miss. When in front position to mark it was butter fingers. And again poor decision making resulting in silly turnovers.
And don't get me started on matching up on opposition players. I lost count of the number of times 3 Falcons ran forward of the play to wax the ball and kick easy goals.
Just not good enough and not many highlights for the Dees except Cody Leggett probably played himself into the State side to play South Aust with a mighty effort in a losing side. There are some players who could take a few leaves out of the Leggett/Byrner playbook.
A poor crowd today and I fear that future home games wont improve on that. It is close to even the most optimistic supporters leaving in droves. 40 years have finally taken their toll.
