This was my post from January, can't really see any reason to change my predictions at this stage although West Coast or Peel may come in for West Perth depending on how the AFL injuries go. I think that 4th and 5th position will be a bit of a raffle anyway. I think that Swans, Sharks and Royals will improve on their performances from last year but not enough to sneak into the top 5.

lets see what transpires during the pre-season games and really should wait for around round 5 before getting areal idea of how teams are travelling, but I think the top 2 are pretty safe but would see EP placed a bit higher, have a sneaky feeling they will do alright.

Might upgrade my thoughts on SFFC, some good recruits should be after a top 2 spot.

Souths will be top 3 100% Baz. The only side that could pip them is WCE depending on the injury front with the AFL team of course.

subi and south fremantle top2.can't see west perth making the five.would need everything to go right.no injuries and all their stars in career best form.more then likely the five will be completed by Claremont,perth and or west coast and peel depending on injuries.

mike no way will east perth win the spoon.looking at what happenned last year and how both teams have recruited for this year east perth will finish ahead of swans and I suspect east fremantle so long as we have no major injuries to our top players.i think east perth will be the big improvers from the bottom three.
