I have to say I have been amused and amazed by the foolhardy predictions by many on this site without a confirmation of final team lists for 2020 and even some pre season games as a rough guide.I wouldn't include the eagles or peel in any ladder as they are too dependant on both afl teams having a good run with injuries to make the five.i think a lot of supporters seem to be focused on recruits and not also looking on the bigger picture as to which players are not playing this year.

I agree Chaddy, some of the predictions on here are fool hardy.

Probably taking this thread a bit too seriously guys. Just a bit of off season fun. In reality there are only 3 certainties in life, death, taxes and a Subiaco flag......

Hate to say it but it will be another bore feast of a WAFL season, with crowds dropping once again.

That's 4 by my count Mike so maybe Subi for the flag isn't a certainty after all.

Subi and Souths I would pencil in Baz. Pity Kersten won’t be playing, he could have a big impact.
Claremont lost a bit through retirements and Perth picked up a couple of handy ones from Tigerland.
Peel - maybe an injection of life if J-Lo let’s them play with a bit of freedom but a lot of skinny young bodies will be running around.
Eagles ?? Lottery
EF - can’t see any reason why they will improve, their faithful seem to pinning their hopes on arbitration netting them a contracted Perth player.
Perth - been a very active off season, Masten the obvious big name recruit. The others we will just have to wait and see but I believe a figjam departure will galvanise the group. I expect this to be the year we break the drought.
Swans and EP I expect to be big improvers.
The spoon will be a tight tussle between WP and EF, WP having lost their strike power and X factor in Strijk and the convicted wife basher.
