Yep basically, if anything the entire thing was one of financial and business incompetence by the then WAFL; there is no-one bar themselves ( the clubs that supported it) for the dire mess they drove the game into in the late 80s. Basically thanks to a bail out by the tax payer, they have come out of it with a cash flow and some huge assets in the form of two AFL licences that would of never existed had they been left to stand on their own in 89. If anything McGowan would be in his rights to say the Assets of the WAFC are Assets of the Tax Payer of WA and realisation of those assets should be returned to consolidated revenue.

There where two votes - the unanimous vote was by Board of WAFL Directors, the second vote was by the clubs which was carried 6 - 2 , as clearly stated in my post - what is your point?
