7 west like all newspapers suffering and in decline, heap of retrenchments at The West, Kerry Stokes will have to work some magic to save it.

Notice DC has not made the journey, must be the first swim meet he has missed in a long time. BOWS out end of Afl season.

Doubt either papers will survive another decade in current format.

I can see one weekend paper only , and doubt the west will keep up a daily print addition.

From what I notice, not many people read a newspaper nowadays. A few old folk still would. Sometimes at work, we see big bundles of newspapers still bundled up and unread.

I grab one paper saturday morning, thats it for the week,

Stopped buying Sunday Times years ago.

Internet has killed them.
