They would still survive , the gate and bar takings even in a good year only make up 10 - 15 % of incomes , all the big dough comes from WAFC redistributions and Club sponsors , if needs be it would be topped up from WAFC increase in alignment dole, extra 20 - 30 K a year each.

The comp really needs a restructure for the generational change that is now happening to go forward.

So please explain how the WAFC "stealing" one of Claremont's sponsors to enable them to pay the massive amount of dollars to Channel 7 to telecast the WAFL.

Wafl significantly outrated AFL in Sydney and Brisbane and easily beat Rugby Union in Perth.

hey Bazza, why is that WAFL is the only comp in your list paying to be on the box?

You could put up a fair argument to say the Afl subsidises the coverage of Afl broadcast in Nsw and Qld given the relatively small numbers sustained via numbers in Vic , etc. do you know for certain Rugby Union don't chip in for coverage ?

The cone heads running the clubs and the wafl pay for coverage and other codes in your ratings list do not. Infact they sell their rights. Wow theres a novel idea. SWM have them bluffed
