Also heard something along those lines. Am eagerly awaiting officialdoms clarification of "Combined" figure of 55 000? What is it a combined figure of? If the figure is supposedly 51,000, how is that figure arrived at? What is the other 4000? How did that suddenly materialize from nowhere?

Sure attendances are down but that would of happened due to the alignment regardless of who broadcast it.

Obviously we all would want coverage every week and perhaps the state game ( lets be honest interst in state footy has collapsed) but beggers cant be chosers and the Wafl would have been left with bugger all coverage when the Abc packed it up and walked away. The wafl dont hold the bargaining chips in this one despite your deluded out of date view of things, the world is dominated by Afl now, what we can do is build on this when the contract is up for renewal and get the best coverage we can going forward.

Explain the 9.000 and the 50,000 figures and how you determined them?

Ratings figures easily obtained.

Abc did get close to 50k plus in their last few years for a home and away.

Here are last years figures even by sanfl and vfl 50k plus is excellent.

Note the 2014 Abc average of just 18k , last year was a 58% increase on that, appears this year will build on that.

What channel is the 16th placed Dockers on today?Oh,that's right,on their Main Channel,because it's Pav's 350th and it should rate 300 000 at least,with an extra 100 000 or so tuning in out of interest.

Even then 400 000 might be considered somewhat disappointing,but it ain't on the Reserves network,that's fir sure.

Oh,in case you didn't notice their schedule,some of their WAFL Telecasts were scheduled to be on their main Network,but mainly on their Reserves Channel.Or is Mate,their 3rds?!

Your a goose grassy.Yesterday not only the Wafl Derby but also ,The Eagles game and the North Melbourne game were shown on 7mate as a triple header.That is why you have digital stations to augment the main channel and not disrupt normal programming too much.Not hard to switch a channel or to look up a program guide.

The fact we are beating sanfl in terms of viewers is bloody great.

In fact our viewing is even good compared to vfl.
