To get back specifically to the topic, the WAFL attendances have fallen through the floor in the past two seasons mainly because of the host club alignment and the perceived/real financial advantage of Subiaco, exacerbated by the WAFC's complete lack of interest in maintaining the integrity of the WAFL competition, has led to the decision by many, many disenchanted WAFL supporters that it is not worth following such a flawed competition.

Well the figures dont lie, at the moment more people are watching subi games than any other team.

Any solutions swan? Abolish alignments?

Perhaps Bazza that's because $ubi supporters aren't disenchanted with $ubis advantage!

Will they crack 3000 at a single home game in 2016?

Bazza I don't understand why you are trying to delude yourself. In the WAFL there is only one club, Subiaco, that has won more wooden spoons than Swans. We will continue to support our club.

By the way for those old enough to remember the memorable game at Freo Oval when pre-Eagles' days a full-strength South Freo was being beaten so badly by Swans that your coach sent your team out at half-time. Do you have as fond a memory of that match as we do Bazza?

I remember the historic arse wipping you got this year bud, btw have you conceded your getting the spoon this year? Delusion appears to be yours the swans army has evaporated.

Do you remember the match I am talking about? No I haven't conceded that we will win the wooden spoon.

I remember the 1980 GF , do you remember that?

Bazza I can also remember the 1975 preliminary final; do you remember the 1975 Grand Final? I also believe that if we had won the 1980 GF I don't think we would have won our hat trick of 3 GFs in 1982, 83 and 84.

Bazza in case one needs to state the obvious for you, alas I suspect it needs to be stated, anyone who has supported Swans for a period is well aware that we have had some very lean years. We understand that and we embrace fully our history. Personally, I would like to be able to expunge the Peter Wilson era at Swans but one can't do that. Further I can remember a Colts' match against Subiaco where we didn't kick a goal for the whole match or a match against Claremont in the Colts when Tony Micale was coached; as a footnote to that game the guy who kicked our only two goals was dropped for the following game.

So Bazza keep banging on about the match earlier this year; it is literally water of a duck's back.

Given the historic margin , I will keep banging on about it...lol

1980 we thrashed your mob in a GF, that's what counts. 1975 we played WP....who thrashed us not SD, so who gives a stuff , this is about sf thrashing sd....lol.

Historic margin?
Yet another INCORRECT fact from poor ol Barry

One thing about Fremantle Oval that I like is that especially on those nice late Autumn Friday nights making your way from the train station and stopping off at a couple of the pubs along the way for a beer or two before you get to the ground.

Showgrounds well I don't really like the Showgrounds and the sooner the Tigers are back at Claremont Oval the better.

If you want to have a can down in Mandurah you better re-mortgage your house as well :P

Train like bitches play like bitches. Lift your training intensity & commitment & you may find some consistency & be able to match it with us. Funny how players who cant get a game at other clubs come to us & become good senior players

DG you do realise that if the WAFL competition goes belly-up your club won't have anyone to play against. I repeat only the deluded, certifiable or completely amibivalent could not care about the unfair advantages three clubs have over the rest of the competition. I also re-iterate that I use club in the loosest possible meaning.

Stop making excuses for your hopeless mobs uncompetitive status swan its becoming as embarrasing as your on field performances this year...

Your mob have failed to come up to the mark...

Yesterday South knocked off the dockers reserves, East freo pumped Subi last week,, games are there to be won if your good enough, just because your mob are dragging the comp down with inept performances heading towards a spoon, dont think we need to listen to your constant moaning about how hard done by Swans are, if its not the umpires its everything else, yes tne alignment sucks, but get used to it , it aint going way.

swan we will still have peel & ferals to play according to you. I hate the alignment & would love the govt or somebody to top all clubs up with cash but even then bitches will be. The tiges have the talent, always have had & you talk about unfair advantages then you may as well chuck them in there too

If perth and swans merged based at basso, that would leave the new latho development to wce and their reserves mob, no doubt this is on the minds of wafc officials long term...
