The week 8 attendances of 5,323 at the 4 Wafl games is the lowest crowd numbers for the corresponding week of fixture for over 10 years!
If the panic button has not been hit, the question is why not?
Currently, the figure is just a tick over 14% down at the same time last season which is a massive reduction!

Alignments and clubs with unfair advantages over others have killed it, the paying public aren't stupid when they know the playing field is not level. Interest at late 90`s and early 2000 lows

The WAFL crowd figures this season are nothing short of embarrassing and I havent heard a peep from the WAFC about what they have planned to do about it in fact havent heard anything from them other than the appointment of the new CEO?
Wasnt Bazza banging on about how when the Fremantle clubs are firing the WAFL is strong well with crowd figures down nearly 20% coming off a low base with both Freo teams in the WAFL Top 3 plus the Dodos & Dorks are struggling in the AFL could it be that with SD struggling that has massively affected the crowds numbers?

And where are all the South fans? 900 on Sat v Claremont when they are flying top of the ladder, and they only had a short trip up Stirling highway to get there too

Why do you think that all Souths supporters live in Freo, this whole thing of supporters having to "travel" to away games is just idiotic. I can understand that all Swans supporters live in Basso and Midland because that's all they can afford on the dole, but all other supporters of traditional teams live all over the metro area and country areas.
