Interesting mate as the WAFC never do any favours to either club in fact the opposite in most cases.
The WAFL crowd figures this season are nothing short of embarrassing and I havent heard a peep from the WAFC about what they have planned to do about it in fact havent heard anything from them other than the appointment of the new CEO?
Wasnt Bazza banging on about how when the Fremantle clubs are firing the WAFL is strong :S well with crowd figures down nearly 20% coming off a low base with both Freo teams in the WAFL Top 3 plus the Dodos & Dorks are struggling in the AFL could it be that with SD struggling that has massively affected the crowds numbers?

Yep that's right, but they were cockies originally so Basso was probably the closest ground ;) Lady Brand lived out her days in South Perth and was great mates with lady Tonkin who also lived in South Perth after selling her and Sir John's Dalkieth house, both lovely ladies.

Yeh spot on with all that mate, suspiciously you could be forgiven to believe that this is what the WAFC want so they can justify changes to the league driven by AFL interests. And where are all the South fans? 900 on Sat v Claremont when they are flying top of the ladder, and they only had a short trip up Stirling highway to get there too

Why do you think that all Souths supporters live in Freo, this whole thing of supporters having to "travel" to away games is just idiotic. I can understand that all Swans supporters live in Basso and Midland because that's all they can afford on the dole, but all other supporters of traditional teams live all over the metro area and country areas.

TOSG for your edification Sir and Lady Brand were Swans' supporters.

Mmm my reply disappeared, anyway try again, 42 your right but they were cockies so maybe Basso was their closest ground ;) Lady Brand lived out her days in South Perth and was close friends with Lady Tonkin who also lived in South Perth after the Tonkin house in Dalkieth was sold, both were lovely ladies.

Mr and Mrs Tonkin liven on Preston Point Road East Freo , not Dalkieth, I used to see him doing his garden all the time. Also John Tonkin was never knighted so I don't think Mrs Tonkin was a "lady".

If the panic button has not been hit, the question is why not?
Currently, the figure is just a tick over 14% down at the same time last season which is a massive reduction!

yeah things a crook for sure...BUT

1. weather was crapola, 2 fixtures ordinary to say the least,3 Claremont have no home ground 4, don't forget 12,000 never fronted at the shockers either .

Sorry champ, Subiaco once again topped the attendance figures, but all round they are nothing to be proud of.

S V EF 1620
SD V P 1550
WP V PT 1191
C V SF 962

hardly surprising, less than 1000 at the crap showgrounds venue added to the weather and the fact Claremont have 5 supporters...

but all round the figures are crap...

well done to subi and ef , top the table and ef adding some life to the comp...

Does anyone know the real crowd figure?

964 is the official WAFL figure, go back a page I posted all the WAFL figures. The evidence that Swans have no supporters is really starting to stack up

960 .... fark that is woefull...

It certainly is as that was your clubs pitiful attendance vs Claremont and your on top too! :)
