Yeah can't remember that Claremont fella.

I was looking forward to seeing Jack Martin play AFL but he got injured in the first few minutes of his debut.

I can't picture this below age lad but I must have seen him play - Bennett from your club. People tell me he's all class so I'll keep my eyes out for him next time we play.

yep cheers for that BH.......played 1 or 2 colts games when Martin / Hogan were there from memory.....kicked a few goals each time......just couldn't handle city living apparently.

Yeah Tom Bennett(5) LH, looking good for EF, but hey this years squad is a tad down in quality compared to previous years.....also Jordan Snadden, who is under age, has been racking up plenty of the footy too apparently....doing well to be 4-4 at present.....reckon that may blow out a bit come the end of the season.....hard game v SF on Mon....even with SF missing half their team to state duties....LOL

Something I meant to say in the above post was in the interview above he said 40% of the draft was from WA.. Interesting stat. Something I never knew or thought about

Went to the WA V VIC METRO game today and I should of saved my petrol

Stayed until end just to get a final score.

Up to half time it looked liked a contest but in the second Half WA only kicked 2 points..

It looked like WA didnt turn up to play. A couple of the things I noticed

In the third qtr I counted 11 turnovers in kicks by the WA boys. It was consistant through out the game and at a rough guess would say overall 30 turnovers by kicking to a Vic player
Hence if you see the stats dont take any noticed of them as most WA actions were ineffective!
WA on top of this were outplayed in most positions. and I would say they will be lucky to win a game in this tournament.

They certainly didnt appear to be playing to a match plan and the Coach never did anything to stop the tide.. after half time? I dont know the guy but listening to him he did nothing to inspire me or really came out with a way of stopping VIC.
He did say to the players at 3QTR time to play man on man.. and that was it.
I really expected him to give them a kick in the arse at 3qtr time but it appears that is not politically correct at this level?

I cant understand why Darren Harris is the manager and not the coach as he certainly knows his footy and can inspire player as he did at WP.

In fairness to the coach he certainly couldnt do anything about the turnovers and errors made by the players on the field. It was totally out of his control so maybe I am a bit rough on him.

WA showed 1 period in the 2nd qtr where some desperation was shown and it made a difference but that was the only inspirational thing I saw all game.

WA was outplayed,outclassed and made it easy for Vic Metro to play their game.
At no time were Vic Metro under pressure and it looked like a training drill for them. As can be seen by the scoreline our back line and forward line were totally ineffective.

Hopefully the boys learnt some lessons and were as disgusted as I was with their performance. I am not going to wipe their arses and treat them as children as they are old enough to know where they went wrong.

Out of the whole game 2 players impressed me
10 Jarrod Pickett who is very very fast and he was very hard to catch once he had the ball. His skills at getting out of tackles was incredible.

11 Ryan Lim He seemed to put in 100% and busted his guts

7 Tyler Keitel did some good things in flashes

They are really the only 3 who came to my notice.

Pathetic performance by the WA boys today we were outclassed in the end by Vic Metro. Cardy Pickett is flashy but doesnt do anywhere near enough for mine. I thought Waterman, Smith, Anderson, Ah Siu, Walsh tried hard for WA but Connor Blakely being injured really hurt us inside.

Was not at game but got a report from someone close to the action, that WA over used the ball with too much handball, coughed it up, then were steam rolled in the second half.

Ryan Lim I think maybe former 15's State Captain Brendan Lims' brother. B.Lim has left Claremont and is playing for Kukerin Dumbleyung. He got leather poisioning today
