No offence to anyone, the captaincy selection needs to be explained? Would be good to see a West Aussie guy captain the team. Ames would have been the better choice but no offence to the others. As some one mentioned earlier, I too cannot find any mention of a broadcast schedule for the game! If not being broadcast or televised, why not?! Or have the budget cuts started already? If state games are seen as being important, why is the media ignoring it?

Flexabilty and multiple roles is what coaches look for. Simmo does not have that. Even admitted himself he lacks pace. Hey you only been top of the ladder for 3 days. BTW EP are coming at ya hard after the bye

yeh, Simmo has no flexibility - that is why he kicked 36 goals in a premiership year in 2010 including 5 in the prelim against East Perth, another strange comment.

East Perth are not coming after Swans after the bye, East Perth dont play in the WAFL anymore, we play some team that going on their last game had 13 WCE players.

Ames has played full back 99% of the year, does that mean he should not have been picked as under your theory he has no flexibility ?

and you want Notte to play CHB but he hasnt played there all year or is previous years flexibility ok in Notte's case but not in Simmo's ?

Ames is the best FB in the comp and has demonstrated the best defence mechanisms against qulaity opponents all season. He has no peer at the moment. Notte plays every where hence his inclusion. BTW does mean Simmo is not a good player just does fit the structure for this state game. I think Dodd is a better defender by a mile too over Simmo
