Who knows what is happen with last week end's round?  Looking at the fixtures on the WAFL site we now have a round 29 that contains the games from last week ends.

What is of interest is that after that round there is FW1 and FW2 (Presumably final weeks 1 and 2) followed by the GF.  The PF round appears to have been omitted.  Does this mean we are reverting to a final 4 rather than a final 5?

It certainly appears that way 42. Good pick up and it's disappointing for the team which finishes fifth if it is the case.

Is it unreasonable to think:

a) the WAFC should have announced the change? and
b) it is totally unacceptable for the WAFC to make that change?

I don't understand why they can't push the season out to after the AFL season is over. My recollection is that the SANFL Grand Final was played in the first weekend in October for a long time.

I wouldn’t be reading too much into that rubbish. They are calling the lost round R29 played on Oct 30 and showing a state game after the GF.

well October 30 is cricket season and there isn't a round 29 - ever

My understanding is the lost round will be held and the qualifying matches finish a week later. 

They are talking about a midweek fixture. No wriggle room now if we get another Covid lock-down.
