Apparently 380 attended the Peel WCE game on the Sunday when crowds were not allowed.
Another AFL conspiracy 42? The game started before McGoo announced crowds would not be allowed to attend the derby. After that spectators were turned away and sat behind the fence on the bank of the northern oval and viewed the game from there. I just happened to be down that way on Sunday and poked my head in for look, from outside the fence. It was midway through the last qtr and there were a dozen or so spectators behind the goals behind the fence at the northern end.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

according to the minister's investigation last year about 9.5 million dollars went anywhere but to WAFL clubs (out of approx. 11 million revenue)

WAFC job is guarantee the second tier comp - the lower leagues or comps were never supposed or going to be highest priorities , excluding junior ones naturally

WAFC and it's clubs who (along with the WA taxpayers) bailed out one failed then-VFL local club are owed far more revenue than is current

won't have a Victorian comp if there isn't any SANFL or WAFL

Not exactly - the WAFL set up Indian Pacific Ltd that went bust, the WAFL was bust as a result of the Eagles going under, the WAFL had a 1 Million loan on Subiaco Oval 2 and 3 tier stands construction at what was then huge interest rates.

The council of WAFL Presidents own that one.

The WAFC was set up to salvage the WAFL and Eagles via a emergency cheap loan funded by Tax payers and the gifting of Subiaco Oval on a 99 years lease for SFA.
The Indian Pacific board stuffed WA footy up mate - the council was badly divided over the entry
The WANFL president ultimately signed off on everything anyway including the reno at Subiaco etc
And guess who took full advantage of this stuff ? They were renamed the following year

The WAFL Council of Presidents made the decision to form Indian Pacific Ltd. even before that the WAFL ( WANFL ended in 1980) was already mired in debt, faced with declining attendances and revenues, players moving to the VFL they and they alone made the decision to purchase at way above the odd a licence from the VFL ( a scam to finance the VFL they fell for).

They and they alone own that.

The WAFL was not heavily divided, as Swan42 accurately states, only SDFC and SFFC voted against it.

I do agree the fee was astronomical but I couldn't hold presidents of clubs responsible for shithouse management of a company (IP Ltd) mate

That 4 million kept sides like Fitzroy , North Melbourne , Footscray alive , gave birth to Brisbane & South Melbourne in Sydney

There were more than two clubs against it though from memory

The $4 million debt that lead to Indian Pacific going bust was set up by the WAFL agreeing to pay it,

The WAFL choose the CEO of Indian Pacific - John Walker who himself had come directly from the board of the WAFL via EPFC.   All there baby and that's before the $1 million they couldnt afford for the 2 tier stand long before the Eagles.

Brisbane wasnt set up by our payment, they also paid the 4 Million...doomed to fail.
