Considering they couldnt fill the 11k crowd limit allowable at Fremantle Oval (attendance only 10,127) that day WAG I am not sure there would have been too many if any at the Esplanade watching.
Taking a walk around Freo itself during the breaks in play for both the Prelim & GF the place is a virtual ghost town these days (shops & business's permanently closed) and a far cry from the halcyon Summer of 1986/87 days!
No wonder the City of Freo was so eager to get some people into the joint albeit only 10,127 rocked up to the game!

How many times do you have to be told, every available tickets sold out, there were never 11,000 tickets available.

Why is it that the AFL Grand Final is always sold out but NEVER the same attendance each year?

Couldn't fill it? Only 10, 127 "rocked up?" It was a sellout BH it was full and nobody else rocked up because there was no more tickets available.

How many times do you have to be told.

The gf was held at the wrong place and was a bit of a flop. Small crowd, bad look for the comp, ordinary game...

BS - Get over it, wont be back at Optus any time soon.

Game was a thriller best in ages.

Exactly right, GF is a sell out but very rarely ever fills every seat on the actual day same as Optus, very rarely 60k there.

It worked ?
Based on what ?
You might be a good candidate for the WAFC board as your benchmark for success and promoting the wafl is pretty low

The lowest WAFL GF crowd since 1930 is apparently a success to that clown Bozzo/Bazza!
And apparently social media comments went berserk fmd please a few dozen SF supporters on Facebook is hardly a great guide there was more talk after last seasons finale debacle about what to do to stop the Subiaco dominance then this joke of a *2020 8 game season and final series played at one teams home ground!
