??? My spare cash is donated over the bar and the raffles thank you. When I was a sponsor it was donated to the marquee projects.

Besides as I said Clubs are better off writing 2020 off.
If we play there are some Clubs who may well battle to survive.
Whilst PFC would survive, we would be far better off financially not playing.

It could be Policed, piece of piss. If 2 x Cops or Army personal attended each WAFL game they could wander around and keep people distancing just like they are utilised at the Regional borders.

My comment was certainly not aimed at you directly Devonleigh. All those things support the club without a doubt. The bar at the moment is closed though which is part of the problem. For those that can donating now could help offset this and is another way to help the club.

Would that be a little bit of self interest or not wanting another wooden spoon!

What a crappy response.
Obviously you don't understand the reasoning.
The financial losses for the Clubs would be far smaller (and already inflicted) if we were to cancel 2020.
Or shall we play 9 games plus finals lose even more money and hand the Flag to Subi.
Notice they are keen to get going.
Obviously money is not a problem for them.
Nor it seems for your Club coming off 5 years of financial gains thanks to WCE.
There are Clubs that will battle financially even more if they play.
One thing is for sure PFC will survive either way.
We will leave the spoon for others more suited to fight out.

In you opinion the response is crappy but that stems from it being to close to the truth, most clubs generate their finances from sponsors who want folk to see the advertising. Unlike my club who are lucky to a have wealthy rabbi and made the dreaded decision or a subi who we all know benefited a WAFC and now yours that are, like it or not are benefiting (no ground maintenance etc) by playing landlord to the second richest club in the AFL along with Peel who not only have the WAFC the Dorkers supporting them . Clubs like Swans & Souths as examples rely on good sponsors and good management albeit in more recent times. Claremont have made commercial decisions that will protect them for sometime.

You need to admit that given your new co-tenacy arrangement you like EP, Subi and Peel are now assured of survival no matter the decision to play or not whereas the EF, SF and even the debtors need advertising and patrons to succeed.

Yes we benefit from WCE being at Lathlain.
But no where near the extent that EP prostituted themselves.
The main benefit has been the introduction to new sponsorship opportunities.
Obviously those sponsors see PFC as a good sponsorship opportunity too.
As for ground maintenance I guess you can put that down to sub-lease charges.
Our financial stability stems from 20 years of good financial management having lived within our means.
Not prostitution.
As for your Rabbi, he got out at the right time.
Not too many cars being sold at the moment.
Read your post again, the crap may be more obvious second time around.

DF seriously we are football clubs in a football league if we can play (given the go ahead by the relevant authorities) we should play.
What is the point of running a football club but not playing football when allowed just to possibly save a few bucks?
FFS if the clubs finances are the main concern of yours for cancelling this season then forfeit 2020 like some clubs did in the war years and let those who are willing and able to play get on with it....but good luck keeping your players interested in hanging around sitting on their hands for another 12 months whilst other clubs are playing, let alone members, sponsors etc!

Seriously a few bucks??
You are kidding aren't you?
Some Clubs will not survive.
There are at least 2 I can think of that will struggle.
Just saying some prudence needs to taken.
