Not sure where you’re getting your news STT, the Carlisle Gazette?

Highest number of Covid-19 positive recorded to date. 17 new cases confirmed today in WA.

The curve is definitely on a rapid upward trend.

All state league, amateur, junior, country, Auskick and AFL 9s competitions across the entire country have had their seasons postponed - STT the WAFL wasn’t targeted by the AFL in this decision
Similarly the A League and NRL are still playing but lower level competitions in these sports have also had their seasons postponed.

And I cannot see how anyone cannot accept that the AFL are a bunch of hypocrites who look after themselves.

How many more examples do you need?

The WAFL gets about what 3 mill from the AFL clubs a year. That does not give the AFL ie the peak body the right to make decisions about the WAFL in the way it did for the reasons it did and then turnaround and ignore them for themselves.

This idea you have of money trickling down from the afl to grassroots football is their BS which you buy. It goes about everywhere but downstream.

Enjoy the game tonight chumps.

So when the WAFL led by you, tell the AFL to fk off out of WA, are you going to follow rugby or kiss me Kate soccer........chump?

Whilst the PFL doesn't receive money from the WAFL, it does from WAFC, as does the WACFL etc.

I don't understand why you keep blaming the AFL for the WAFL being postponed?

Reports suggest that the WAFC, in a united decision with all other State Leagues made the choice to suspended their respective seasons due to concerns for the coronavirus and the need to protect the health and safety of players, coaches, staff, supporters and the broader community.

That also includes community, country football etc across the entire country.

These decisions wouldn't have been made lightly and given how quickly the virus is spreading across Australia at the moment I'm glad that the such a socially responsible decision was made.

Don't waste your time, TT - you are talking to a brick wall, as has been proven time after time on OzF.

Maybe the poor guy suffers from dementia? That often leads to repetitive behaviours like asking the same question or repeating the same statement over and over again.

Haggers just said that if the AFL shuts down and cannot complete this season, it will be the death knell of the WAFL.
