Would be very surprised if true. Given they had all teams playing on Saturday, my understanding is players can play anywhere. If they have played the 5 qualifying games...I could be wrong though.

Mr Mysterious this is incorrect. This used to be the rule ages ago but the ammos changed it.
This is how Gosnells ressies came unstuck, had a player who had played 5 games for the club,
missed league selection and even though league and ressies were playing on the same day in the same fixture final they were DQ because he hadn't played 5 games in that grade
