Andrew Gaffs left hook off the ball that looks to have broken at a minimum several teeth and possibly a broken jaw on Andrew Brayshaw deserves a very long holiday. That was as bad as Barry Hall on Brent Staker and should get a minimum of 6 weeks. And he can kiss his Brownlow chances goodbye.

He was trying to get the brownlow monkey off his back and probably surprised himself on how brittle the kid he snoted was!

Mind you always thought there was something sus about gaff this year being that he's a free agent.

Pigs ass he wound back his left arm and it was a full blooded swing aimed directly on the chin. Brayshaw wasn't moving before the contact so there can be no defence it was accidental. 6 weeks minimum. I'm sure it was out of character for Gaff and I reckon his thoughts will turn to how Andrew Brayshaw is and got no doubt he will reach out to him to apologize but the tribunal will need to make a, statement here.

Brayshaw was taken to hospital in an ambulance before 3 qtr time.

Totally out of the blue. The Eagles were cruising and it didn't seem to be provoked by any obvious incident. No excuses for this sort of violence and Gaff will pay the price. Hope young Brayshaw is OK.

BC one of the commentators (David King I think) said 6 weeks could rule him out of the GF. Assuming they make the GF. I didn't realise there was only 3 rounds left. Time flies.
