So its the Sixers at the furnace. Took them 4 hours to finish off the Heat. They would have been kicking themselves if they had lost. From 2-130 after around 15 overs they lost too many soft wickets and in the end just scraped over the line for a super over. They have their captain to thank for his clean hitting. In fact Moises is batting so well at the moment I reckon he has earned himself a late call up for the ODI's in New Zealand

Grassy: Bresnan would be a useful addition to the Shield side. After all it was imports whom put this place on the cricket map:

gtr: to be honest I think the Shield side could do with importting a batsman and a bowller, in addition to Bresnan; but, that of course, would leave the WACA very poor indeed. Hopefully, as you suggestted, next season we can get some of our injurred players fit for the first-class competition.

Ive liked all Cricket all my life Ark.But im totally hooked on 20/20 cricket.A Batsman how about Ian Bell a solid middle order batsman.Was a regular England international for at least a decade.

Well it doesnt get anymore comprehensive than that the Perth Scorchers absolutely trouncing the Sydneysiders by a lazy 9 wickets.
From the 6 years of the Big Bash the Scorchers have now won 3 finished runners up 2 times & 3rd in the other year.
A quality team effort but special mention to young Richardson who bowls with some real zip and took 3 wickets, Whiteman who got the side off to an absolute flyer in the run chase and also veterans MJ & Klinger who must be one of the unluckiest cricketers of all time having never represented Australia in any form despite being a consistent run scorer in all forms of cricket since the late 90s!
