To me its like the one dayers ( except obviously abbreviated) never liked them and dislike to 20/20 even more. The world of sports evolve and i understand they dont cater for the old farts like me, who are more sporting purists. As i said good luck to people getting enjoyment out of if. I just wish the would play the 20/20 games at the WACA and not the furnace ( err thats a marketing joke lads).

As an old fart myself, I understand your stance on what type of game you like or dislike. For me, I love test cricket, but couldn't sit down for 5 days to watch it. It's great in as much as you can watch a bit, go outside to do something or have the radio on to keep up. With the one day, I watch a bit throughout the match, but mainly watch the last 6-10 overs of each innings. 20/20 has me mesmerised and I watch the whole game. It's the same as watching a 3 hour footy match.

I think he has just come back from some major injury problems. I agree that he looks an outstanding prospect. Has the potential to be an X factor in the ashes series next year but he needs to play some shield cricket first.

Professional performance by the Scorchers, after Sean Marsh's early departure the batting was consistent. Bell has certainly surprised me as to how good a 20/20 player he is. His two sixes in the middle overs gave the innings momentum. The Scorchers bowlers were all over the Thunder like a rash. Shane Watson didn't look like he wanted to be out there. Jhye Richardson looks like a very promising bowler and I would be interested to see him getting an opportunity at first class level. Mitch Johnson also bowled with some serious heat.

Challenges ahead as they look like they may have lost Voges for a few weeks and Mitch Marsh will go into the Aussie team. Also Willey will leave for India to play for England but apparently they have signed up Bresnen to replace him. Langer sure likes the Poms as imports!

Good call regarding Richardson Mike gee he has a nice whippy arm action and can get them down there at 140km+ and I reckon has surprised a few batsmen with the pace he can generate off the pitch.
Fingers crossed he doesnt have the injury concerns most of our promising WA pacemen seem to suffer of late like Paris, Behrendorff, Coulter-Nile, Mackin, Moody et al

Think all the Scorchers fanson here are in shock after last night pyrotechnics from Messers Lynn and McCullum....no comment what so ever.....Marsh belted 70 odd....Lynn made it look pedestrian by pulverizing 98.....McCullum looked Tavare like making his 50 of 30 odd deliveries....touch wood the Heat have peaked!

For those who watched the Renegades vs Sixers it confirmed why Peter Nevil was dropped as Test keeper. He totally muffed a run out early in the Sixers match by dislodging the bails before taking the ball. Was an easy run out stuffed up. He madse up for it later by stopping a throw by using his head.. Brainless
