That was a crazy old game tonight in Adelaide. I lost count of the number of 6's hit. I'm sure they will have to start issuing helmets to spectators if the fence is cleared so often. What stood out to me was the calm leadership shown by Brendan McCullum under pressure. He has always impressed me as a captain.

Speaking of calmness.....how about that catch by the security guy sitting in his chair?.......and then the celebration afterwards......no smile no fuss and just a simple thumbs up......pure classic.....beats all that kissing and running celebration carry on by Pollard et al!......though Pollards catch of Lynn was a stunner......talk about catching a rocket at head height!

Pollard is an interesting character.
Built like an Adonis, Charles Atlas & Tarzan cross mix and yet he bowls 90km/h blancmanges that wouldnt knock the skin off a rice pudding sheesh my Mum will bowl faster in the backyard on Xmas Day.
I reckon the likes of Hall, Roberts, Garner, Holding, Daniel, Croft, Clarke, Patterson, Bishop, Walsh, Ambrose & the late great Marshall must shake their head in disbelief at this fella!

Pretty sure Liam O'Connor played a game or 2 for WA late last cricket season mate. Not sure why we wouldnt have him in the Scorchers squad instead of that perennial injured out of form Victorian leggie Muirhead?
